It’s Been a Minute…

It’s been a minute since I’ve posted a blog entry on this website. Actually, it’s been more than just a minute. It’s been almost a year!

It’s probably because things are still the same and haven’t really changed. My photography drive has been like a roller-coaster. I’m still on the fence on what I want to do with it. I’m even planning on setting limits for myself on what paid shoots to take on.

The pandemic has been a roller-coaster as well. A year and a half later, we are still wearing masks. Maybe the next month or next year, we don’t have to. I don’t know. I only can partially blame the pandemic on my lack of empathy.

However, just because this is my first blog post in almost a year does not mean I have not been busy. I still make updates to Instagram. I added a fifth one dedicated to landscape and astrophotography (a.k.a NO PEOPLE). I’ve participated in many group and styled shoots. I’ve been also working many paid gigs, especially wedding and events that have been postponed due to the pandemic. I’ve been updating the portfolio sections of this website and my wedding and portrait website. I’ve been shooting and editing a little more videos. Despite being busy, I would have many unmotivated moments, but I try to shake them off.

I’ve always been saying this, but I’m going to TRY to make blogging a regular occurrence. Or maybe once a month and not let almost a year go by? I’m always running out of things to say, so maybe I should improve my writing skills a bit? I’m not sure…
